The first 10 days of Trump’s presidency have been a tornado of right-wing attacks: attacks on immigrants and refugees, the resumption of the Dakota Access pipeline, attempted rollback on health care, abortion, the environment, unions… and that was all before Wednesday. Since then, the attacks have only escalated…but so has the resistance.
Come to a discussion to assess the first week of the Trump Administration and the resistance that is rapidly growing. We’ll discuss last weekend’s incredible rallies in DC and around the world, the rapid resistance to the Muslim travel ban at airports across the country, and upcoming demonstrations including those to defend Planned Parenthood in New York, and the planned climate march on April 29.
