This past year we have seen the re-emergence of fighting unionism from the Red State teachers’ rebellion, to the recent walk outs in hotels across the country, to the current fight inside the Teamsters at UPS over the fate of their contract negotiations. Socialists look to these rank-and-file fights as critical for resisting the power-and-profit hungry bosses, and recognize without the past generations of labor radicals–communists, anarchists, and socialists–we wouldn’t have any labor movement at all. Join our panel in looking at the struggles today and what we can learn from the radicals who put fighting capitalism at the center of the battle for workers’ rights.
