Rally and march to protest Assembly members Malliotakis and Castorina’s anti-immigrant lawsuit. We’ll meet at Greencroft playground (on Greencroft Ave. bet. Ainsworth Ave. and Redgrave Ave) and we’ll march from there.
– STOP reckless fear mongering
– STOP targeting New York’s immigrants
– STOP Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda
– PROTECT the legal privacy of more than 1 million New Yorkers, including immigrants, the elderly, the homeless, transgender people and others
MALLIOTAKIS AND CASTORINA: if you’re willing to send ICE into people’s neighborhoods, we’re willing to coming to yours!
Tell Malliotakis and Castorina to stop the fear-mongering and DROP THE LAWSUIT against IDNYC, a popular and successful municipal ID program that provides those who lack other forms of ID equal access to city services such as bank accounts, schools, museums and cultural institutions. Though banks and NYC officials support IDNYC, local Assembly members Nicole Malliotakis and Ron Castorina have filed a lawsuit that threatens the program by seeking access to the personal data gathered as part of the application process and that the City promised to protect. Citing unfounded fears of terrorism and banking fraud, Malliotakis and Castorina are putting at risk the personal data of more than 1 million New Yorkers, including the undocumented, the elderly, transgender people and others.
Tell Malliotakis and Castorina to drop the lawsuit. Rescind or resign!
