On February 2, 2012, the NYPD says a narcotics unit saw Ramarley “adjust his waistband” outside a Bronx bodega. To them this meant 18 Ramarley Graham had a gun. Police later followed him home, broke in, and shot Ramarley dead in his bathroom—in front of his little brother and grandmother. Three years later there has still never been a criminal trial of the killer, NYPD Officer Richard Haste.
Along with his mother, Constance Malcolm, activists are meeting at the Department of Justice in New York City to demand that the U.S. Department of Justice stop dragging its feet in the investigation!
